Mandi Leigh is a science enthusiast and self proclaimed nerd. Ms. Leigh has been an academic educator at the Lotus School for Excellence for two years where she teaches AP Environmental Science, 7th Grade Life Science, and Advanced Science for Middle School. She has taught environmental education, fly-fishing, snowmaking, and guided wildflower hikes in the Rocky Mountains. She is a semi-retired wildlife biologist who studied endangered butterflies, Gunnison Sage Grouse, White-Tailed Ptarmigan, and song birds across Colorado. Ms. Leigh is a graduate of the University of Wyoming via the Teton Science School Graduate Program and an alumni of Western State Colorado University.
